MIUI 9 Official Release Date

Xiaomi is one of the popular smartphone brand in China and all its devices with its own proprietary skin called “MIUI”. Just back the Global stable update of MIUI 8 is scheduled somewhere in August this year(2016),  company already released MIUI 8 China Developer ROM and Global Beta ROM for supportive devices. Though the MIUI 8 update has yet to hit various devices, Xiaomi has taken a step towards the future by teasing its upcoming MIUI Nougat.

XIAOMI MIUI 9 FEATURES

According to the reports, Xiaomi will soon start developing MIUI 9 which will be based on Android 7.0 Nougat firmware. The Chinese smartphone giant made this news official by posting on its forum that it has officially obtained the Android N source code from Google and also asked fans whether they appreciate multi-window support on MIUI 9 based on Android Nougat. If you have any other suggestion, then do feel free to share with Xiaomi on its official Web page.

MIUI 9 RELEASE DATE

Considering the release date, the update will not happen anytime soon as Xiaomi still have to release MIUI 8 update for various Mi & Redmi smartphones. So it is expected that the MIUI 9 will be made official somewhere in the second half of 2017.

Xiaomi miui 9 supported devices will be updated soon.
